Welcome to this week’s WinBusinessIn podcast.

For this week’s episode I talk about how LinkedIn settings should be managed with business development in mind.

In social media and particularly LinkedIn, it is very important for us to hold a certain level of privacy on what we share to the world. We should also be aware of what facts or information from our account should be visible to our potential leads to make sure we gain the maximum benefit from LinkedIn.

Profile Settings

The second of these screenshots is the default setting so I strongly advise changing this to the ‘everyone’ setting.

It is impossible to discuss the full functions of all LinkedIn settings in just one show. Nevertheless it is still important to understand the important ones, especially if you are serious about winning more business with LinkedIn.
